Developed exclusively for EMC Documentum Administrators, this handy utility converts a data ticket to path of the physical file on disk. This utility also converts the path of the file to a data ticket.

Data ticket is a negative number residing in dmr_content table under column data_ticket and represents path of the physical file that Documentum stores internally.

Data ticket does not indicate / store an extension of the file. Each file name has only 2 digits / letters / combination.

To help avoid wrong data entry, each data ticket you enter must begin with a - sign. Data ticket is only 10 digits wide and hence if length of data ticket extends beyond 10 digits, the input number will turn RED indicating possible error. This does not prevent conversion to path.

Converted path does not include extension of the file.
